Eric Parry studied architecture at the University of Newcastle, the Royal College of Art, and the AA. He founded Eric Parry Architects in 1983, the year he was appointed as a lecturer in architecture at the University of Cambridge, where he taught until 1997. Significant early projects include an office building at Stockley Park, Foundress Court at Pembroke College, Damai Suria luxury apartments in Kuala Lumpur and the urban interventions at London Bridge.
