The concluding decades of the 20th century witnessed an increasing number of religious leaders voted into legislative power. This talk, with Dr Krzysztof Nawratek and Matthew Forbes-Yandı investigates the resulting architectural interpretations of ‘faith spaces’ in Brazil and Turkey and the religiously minded middle classes who commission them.
