Support New Architecture Writers

Founded in 2017, New Architecture Writers supports the work of young people of colour who have been excluded from the conversation about architecture and urbanism. This not only rights an historic wrong, it also enriches the discussion to the benefit of all its participants.

The free, 12-month programme consists of workshops led by architects, journalists, editors and broadcasters, followed by writing briefs that are assessed by guest tutors. Our alumni have gone on to write for the international architectural press and have gained employment in prominent media organisations, as well as setting up the publishing collective Afterparti.

We are asking you to support the work of N.A.W., to amplify excluded voices and build a more progressive and representative architectural media. As our third cohort reaches its culmination your support will help lay the foundations for the continuation of the programme into its fourth year, and beyond.
