John Dennys Memorial Lecture: John Dennys was involved with the AA over a period of 27 years – as a student, lecturer, member of Council, and President. On his death in 1973, a visiting lectureship was established to mark his interest in education.
Introduced by Alvin Boyarsky, John Habraken gives the 1975 inaugural John Dennys Memorial Lecture, discussing the limits of professionalism. Habraken started the architecture department at Eindhoven Technical University in 1967. In 1975 he became chair of the architecture department at MIT. He is the recipient of several awards for architecture and education and the author of numerous books and articles (87 mins).
