West Port was established in 2016 in London by Colin Cheng, Khalifa Abubakar and Shaun Ihejetoh, who met ten years previously while studying at Edinburgh College of Art. Helped by the team’s varied cultural and interdisciplinary background, the practice endeavours to be approachable and accessible to as wide an array of people as possible. Connecting architecture with a greater diversity of people can only, West Port believes, lead to the creation of more sustainable buildings and places. Current new build projects include the Bracken Hide boutique hotel on the Isle of Skye, a co-living and co-working space on Melbourne Street in Brighton, and prefabricated garden studio prototypes for Hutsmith Cabins. https://www.westportarchitects.co.uk/
