Ricky Burdett, Rosamund Diamond, Nadir Tharani & Wilfried Wang discuss the 9H journal and gallery

9H, which began in 1980 as a journal and ran for nine remarkable issues, was responsible for introducing a wealth of European talent to the English speaking world, including such then almost unknown architects as Herzog de Meuron, Hans Dollgast, Alvaro Siza and Eileen Gray. The subsequent launch of the 9H gallery in 1985 confirmed this organisation as one of the most significant voices in British architectural culture of the nineteen eighties.

Bringing together the founders and principal instigators, Ricky Burdett, Rosamund Diamond, Nadir Tharani and Wilfried Wang, the broadcast is the first of a series exploring the origins and history of the Architecture Foundation on the occasion of its thirtieth anniversary.
