Martin Creed was awarded the Turner Prize in 2001 for his light installation. He studied at the Slade School for Fine Art in London and since graduating from there in 1990 he has shown work internationally in solo and group shows. Forthcoming in 2010 are solo exhibitions at the Museo de Arte de Lima and The Common Guild, Glasgow.
