Day 63 of the 100 Day Studio: The world will never be quite the same post-lockdown – and so it shouldn’t be. We have all been enjoying the sounds of birdsong previously masked by traffic, and the longer views and fresher air afforded by the dramatic decrease in pollution since lockdown began. How can we encourage sustainable travel choices in cities despite the fears we all now harbour about public transport cleanliness? The Design Council presents a conversation, chaired by Design Council Director of Architecture and Built Environment, Sue Morgan, with panelists Maayan Ashkenazi,
Andrew Cameron
& Peter Neal, on how this period of adaptation can inform and shape our future patterns of living, and how can we put systems in place now for the long term.
