Day 89 of the 100 Day Studio: Italian architect Francesca Torzo joins us to discuss furniture commissioned by the Belgian gallery Maniera. The gallery commissions architects and artists to develop furniture and objects for use, offering them an excursion beyond their usual practice. Francesca established her office in Genoa in 2008 and four years later won the competition for the expansion of the Z33 museum in Hasselt, Belgium, which opened earlier this year. Other ongoing projects in her office include the Bishan Dance School in Huangshan and the Bamboo Library pavilion in Yangshuo.
