Day 94 of the 100 Day Studio: Hugh Strange discusses the work of the leading Arts and Crafts architect, polemicist and teacher WR Lethaby. The talk focusses on the radical approach to construction and drawing that Lethaby developed in the latter part of career, with the aim of empowering the craftsmen he worked alongside. The presentation includes a contribution from Trevor Garnham who has published a book on Lethaby’s Melsetter House and undertaken the restoration of the house’s chapel.
