100 Day Studio: Jeremy Till – Architecture after Architecture

Day 11 of the 100 Day Studio: Jeremy Till speculates on what happens to architecture when the demands of the climate emergency make some of the founding principles of architecture untenable? Architecture in the modern project has been symbol and carrier of progress and growth, as described by neoliberal economics. These are also terms that have fuelled the climate emergency, so if they need to be redescribed in the light of the crisis, and the associated conditions thrown up by COVID 19, then where does this leave architecture? What role might architecture constructively play in the landscape of climate emergency.
