Day 80 of the 100 Day Studio: Over the past 40 years the city of Hamburg has convened a series of Bauforums, attended by international experts from the fields of architecture, transport, planning, science and culture. Each Bauforum has served as an opportunity to workshop a question of relevance to the city’s future development. In 2019, the sixth Bauforum sought to explore radical solutions for improving the environment adjacent to Hamburg’s highways. In this presentation Dr. Sophie Naue & Tristan Lannuzel of Urbanista, co-organisers of Bauforum 2019, are joined by David Kohn & Matt Volsen of David Kohn Architects who participated in the workshop.
