Denise Scott Brown – Learning from Bob and Denise – Part 2

Denise Scott Brown’s lecture coincides with the launch of ‘Having Words’, a compilation of her writings published as part of the AA Words series.

Robert Venturi gives a short introductory talk before the lecture. A pioneering architect and urban planner, Denise Scott Brown was educated in the 1940s and 1950s at Witwatersrand University, the AA, and the University of Pennsylvania.

Since the 1960s, Scott Brown has taught and lectured widely, while also leading – in collaboration with Robert Venturi – the award-winning Philadelphia firm Venturi Scott Brown and Associates.
