The threat to diversity and the extinction of millions of life-forms by pollution has resulted in a change to the way projects evolve and land surfaces are formed. The Garden in Motion exploits diversity in an attempt to do the most possible with the minimum means. The notion of the third landscape, resulting from the study of landscape and uncultivated land spaces, could be seen as a protected refuge for biological diversity which precious and safeguards the future.
Gilles Clement studied in France and Algeria, and has worked for many years as a landscape architect, plantsman and teacher.
