Designer Marjan van Aubel spoke to Dezeen in a Screentime conversation sponsored by Philips TV & Sound as part of Virtual Design Festival.
The Dutch designer discussed her work with Dezeen’s founder and editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs.
A Royal College of Art graduate, van Aubel’s practice focuses on “solar design” and how to embed solar technology in home objects.
Based in Amsterdam, she has previously designed a stained glass window that harvests solar energy and converts it into amounts of electricity that can charge small computer devices.
