In the 2023-2024 academic year, the student group MASS, based at London Metropolitan University, held a series of talks around the theme ‘Anti-Apathetic Architecture’.
The students asked the question “What if the architect was to move away from a position of apathy and instead diverge to practice fundamentally rooted in care; for the human, non-human and prosperity of our planet. What would an anti-apathetic architecture be like?”
In this episode, the designer and educator Kleanthis Kyriakou presents a series of projects that have led him to form a ‘Queer Pedagogy’. He discusses his thesis project, his teaching practice at CSM and his work at Wet Hard Agency.
