Based in Reading, Guttfield Architecture aims to create beautiful, contemporary homes that are practical, low- energy and long-life. Founded in 2011 by Fred Guttfield, the practice works across London and the South East. Guttfield Architecture particularly relishes designing one-off houses and developing close relationships with clients. Near Henley, the practice completed Cherry Tree House, a 245sqm addition to a family home overlooking the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The design was driven by the form and fenestration of a retained farm cottage on the site. It is also working on a new-build house for an architect and an artist in north west London, and on an extension to a seventeenth century hunting lodge in the Cotswolds. https://guttfieldarchitecture.co.uk/
