Led by Becca Thomas and Marc Cairns, New Practice aims to develop the creative capacity of cities, and to connect people with the decision-making processes that underpin the urban experience. Based in London and Glasgow, the practice was founded to provide a platform for projects which had a specific focus on community-led outcomes. Work spans from London to Orkney at a variety of scales, from temporary interventions in the public realm to the adaptive reuse of community and cultural buildings. These include the £1.8 million transformation of an Edwardian school building in Glasgow for community use as the Kinning Park Complex. https://new-practice.co.uk/
