Paul Shepheard introduces his alternative millennium project, ‘M’, which aims to take one British building for each of the ten centuries since the year one thousand and study them as a set.

Paul Shepheard graduated from the AA in 1972 and taught in Diploma School until 1982. His subsequent experience in practice and in teaching led to the publication of ‘What is Architecture?’, an essay on landscapes, buildings and machines.
