The Architectural Imagination – The U.S. Pavilion at the 2016 Venice Biennale of Architecture

At the vernissage of the 15th International Biennale of Architecture in Venice, PLANE—SITE and ArchDaily had the opportunity to speak with Cynthia Davidson & Monica Ponce de Leon, the co-curators of this year’s U.S. entry to the festival. Focused on the city of Detroit, the exhibition, entitled “The Architectural Imagination,” seeks to provoke the conception of new ways of living, working and building in the post-industrial cities of the world, and to show a variety of some of the best American architects working today.
