The Shades Become a City – Hamed Khosravi, Marie Coulon and Manijeh Verghese

As a two part exhibition at the Architectural Association and Betts Project, Do You Remember How Perfect Everything Was? presents an overview of Zoe Zenghelis’ early paintings from the 1960s, her years at OMA (Office for Metropolitan Architecture) through to recent works made in 2020. Stretched between abstract metropolitan tectonics and landscape structures, the selection of Zenghelis’ paintings represent an enquiry into absent architectural projects.

The AA and Betts Project are delighted to host a guided digital tour of the first part of the exhibition, followed by a conversation between Hamed Khosravi, curator of the exhibition, Marie Coulon, Founder & Director of Betts Project, and Manijeh Verghese, Head of Public Programmes at the Architectural Association.
