Alessia Cargnelli from Array Collective will talk about artist-led spaces and grassroots collectives as part of the Summer Public Programme
Array member Alessia Cargnelli will be talking about the long history of artist-led spaces and grassroots collectives in the North of Ireland, leading to Array’s contemporary practice and the development of the 2021 Turner Prize Winning work ‘the Druthaib’s Ball’.
Array Collective are a group of individual artists based in Belfast, who join together to create collaborative actions in response to the sociopolitical issues affecting Northern Ireland.
