Growing Resistance: Ameli Klein & Collective Rewilding

This lecture will introduce new methodologies of anachronistic engagement with local horticultural knowledge to further our understanding oft the potentiality that an intesrsectional approach to urban gardening, biodiversity, and political farming can hold. The format is focused on the social impact of gardening, and addresses the growing concerns of “food deserts” (geographic areas where residents’ access to affordable, healthy food options, especially fresh fruits and vegetables is restricted or nonexistent) as well as the historic role of gardens within foreign and domestic politics.
