In this series of lunchtime talks, hear from some of our most inspiring Alumni from the 2008 to 2010 class as they discuss how they steered their career to success through the challenges and difficulties of the last recession. Using examples from their own careers, invited Alumni will discuss the opportunities that emerge in times of adversity and how to build a resilient practice to ensure longevity and sustainability. Each session is followed by a Q&A chaired by a recent graduate or student.

Stephanie Edwards is an architect, urbanist and co-founder of Urban Symbiotics – an insight and research led multi-disciplinary design practice that focuses on the user experience to innovate architecture, masterplanning and the public realm. Urban Symbiotics are currently leading on a Regeneration Framework in Croydon, working on the UN Habitat’s Future Cities Programme and ‘re-imagining’ the Black Cultural Archives in Brixton. Stephanie is an elected Council member of the RIBA and was also celebrated as a ‘force for change’ by Vogue in the 2019 seminal September issue guest edited by HRH the Duchess of Sussex.
